PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FROM RECENT ARTECH ASSOCIATES PROJECTS

  • Led implementation of SAP Quality Management software and a bolt-on LIMS at two manufacturing plants simultaneously. Responsibilities included defining current system functionality, analyzing fit analysis, reengineering business processes, training, validation and project management. Worked with quality management site experts to assure all business issues were resolved.
  • Team member, SAP Implementation. Participated in Demand Management/SAP implementation for cost management and product cost development applications.
  • Expert in issues faced by analytical laboratories - laboratory automation, training, data review, audits, quality assurance, plan and standard operating procedure development.
  • Expert in project planning, recruiting, organizing and leading effective project teams, and project management.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in development life cycle of large business system applications. Managed planning, analysis, configuration and implementation, especially in Quality Assurance and Manufacturing areas. Performed business case benefits analysis and developed process-reengineering strategy.
  • Expert in operations strategic planning. Directed all activities of a team consisting of engineering, manufacturing, procurement, legal, marketing and quality assurance personnel. Developed a global long-range capacity modeling system for optimizing product sourcing.
  • Manufacturing Systems Expert. Chief architect of an ERP product which provided operations management software applications, including MRP, Finite Scheduling, Advanced Planning and Scheduling Systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Activity Based Cost Management, Human Resources, Staff Management and Payroll Preparation. The product also provided Order Entry, Accounts Receivable, Financials, Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Inventory Control functionality. Formed a company to produce and market the product and led it for ten years.
  • Operations Management Executive with expertise in leading operational Process Change projects. Led Warehouse Management and Bar-coding Data Collection design teams on an SAP implementation project. Managed staff of engineer/programmers and supporting software and equipment vendors working in an FDA/GMP validation environment. Installed systems in 20 facilities in 6 states and 4 foreign countries. Developed and validated a custom 3-tier Bar-coding Data Collection system using RF technology to transmit material handling, manufacturing and warehousing information to SAP in real time.
